Riverside Garden Resort Wedding Photographer
A garden resort at Alsancak, about 8 km from Kyrenia centre: lemon groves, fruit trees and views of both mountain and sea. The sea is about 2 km away rather than at the door.
The character here is green. Unlike beachfront resorts, the background is garden rather than water: tree shade, grass and citrus. For a summer wedding that is a real advantage — shade for the guests and for the photographs.
Light
The coast faces north: sea to the north, the Beşparmak ridge to the south. Midday sun comes from straight overhead and it is hard — a white dress blows out, eyes fall into shadow. The useful window is the last ninety minutes before sunset. The season moves the sun too: in summer it sets west-north-west into the sea, in winter west-south-west over land. Seven in the evening in June and in November are not the same photograph.
Low evening light coming through the trees makes the best hour here: the leaves break the light and the ground picks up a dappled texture.
Practical
If you want frames by the sea, that is a short drive — worth building into the timeline.
Capacity, noise and curfew rules, drone permission — those are the venue's own policies and they change. I would rather not invent them: ask the venue directly, send me the answer, and we plan from the same information.
Practical notes
- Light
- Set in gardens: tree shade rescues the midday hours. Evening light comes through the leaves and leaves a dappled texture on the ground.
- Getting there
- Alsancak, about 8 km from Kyrenia centre; roughly 2 km from the sea.
