Malpas Hotel Wedding Photographer
Set on the hillside at Çatalköy, about 8 km east of Kyrenia, with the Mediterranean in front and the Beşparmak ridge behind — the elevation puts sea and mountain in the same frame.
What sets this place apart is the elevation. At sea-level venues the horizon is a single line; here there are layers — garden in front, sea in the middle, mountain behind. On a wide frame those three layers compose the picture for you.
Light
The coast faces north: sea to the north, the Beşparmak ridge to the south. Midday sun comes from straight overhead and it is hard — a white dress blows out, eyes fall into shadow. The useful window is the last ninety minutes before sunset. The season moves the sun too: in summer it sets west-north-west into the sea, in winter west-south-west over land. Seven in the evening in June and in November are not the same photograph.
The slope is open to the west, so sunset lasts longer here: there is still working time while the last light drops toward the sea.
Practical
The resort has both outdoor areas and indoor function rooms, so the ceremony can go either way.
Capacity, noise and curfew rules, drone permission — those are the venue's own policies and they change. I would rather not invent them: ask the venue directly, send me the answer, and we plan from the same information.
Practical notes

- On the hillside: sea in front, the Beşparmak ridge behind. The layered view composes wide frames, and the elevation stretches sunset out.
