Türkiye's Aegean coast: west-facing coves, pine and olive, stone houses and a horizon that drops the sunset into the sea.
The Aegean's advantage over Cyprus's east coast is orientation: the coves face west, so the sun genuinely drops into the sea. The late-afternoon frame you are picturing is actually possible here.
Light
Pine shade helps at midday — but be careful: pine needles turn the light into a dappled texture that can speckle faces. For portraits you want either full shade or to step out from under the trees altogether. The evening breeze arrives at nearly the same hour every day; we plan the veil and the hair around it from the start.
Practical
Roads between the coves are busy in summer, so allow generous time between locations. For weddings abroad, travel and accommodation are a separate line — send me the date and we talk about the total up front.
Practical notes

- The coves face west, so the sun really does set into the sea. Pine shade helps at midday but the needles can speckle faces. The evening breeze arrives at the same hour daily.
