Olive groves, Güzelyurt Wedding Photographer
The citrus and olive groves of the Güzelyurt plain in the west of the island: ordered rows of trees, dirt tracks and wide undeveloped space.
An olive grove gives you two things: the ordered rows create depth, and the silvery leaves soften and scatter the light. Even hard midday sun becomes workable under the trees.
Light
The hour is still close to sunset: the lowering sun runs horizontally between the rows and comes through the leaves as dappled gold. The plain is open to the west, so the last light holds late.
Practical
The groves are private land — which plot you can enter needs settling in advance. Dirt tracks turn to mud after rain and a wedding dress does not forgive that. In summer the irrigation schedule is worth checking too.
Practical notes
