Karpaz & Golden Beach Wedding Photographer
A long undeveloped beach near the tip of the Karpaz peninsula: dunes, an open horizon and the region's free-roaming donkeys — one of the island's starkest landscapes.
This is the island's strongest setting for an elopement or a small ceremony: there is nothing in the background. No buildings, no crowd, no signage. The frame belongs entirely to two people and the landscape.
Light
There is no shade at all. Midday sun here is merciless and you may not find a single tree to stand under. The working hours are the first of the morning or the last of the day — in between is genuinely difficult.
Practical — do not underestimate it
Reaching the tip of the peninsula is a long drive and the last stretch is not comfortable. Bring shade and water with you rather than expecting to find anything nearby. Sand and wind will get into the dress. For couples who still come, the reward is real: nothing else in Cyprus is this untouched.
Practical notes
- Light
- No shade whatsoever; midday is close to unworkable. Early morning or the last hour of the day.
- Getting there
- Near the tip of the Karpaz peninsula — a long drive, and the final stretch is rough.
