FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do you describe your photography style ?

I like to describe my style as authentic and candid, with gentle guidance and direction for portraits and group photos. My goal is to capture the true moments of the day and I want you to be able to enjoy your event without being bombarded by a camera in your face. It is important to me to be able to capture your wedding day moments without taking anything away from your experience. I don’t rely too much on posing, but I do provide gentle guidance and direction to get the best photos of your day. My editing style varies depending on the time of year, but I always love golden hues and contrast that make colors pop!

What services do you offer ?

I offer photography services for weddings and elopements, individual and couple portraits, engagement sessions, family, newborn, maternity, and more. All sessions are on-location of your choice, and my work is mostly based on natural outdoor lighting rather than an indoor studio.

Do you travel?

Yes, I travel all over the world and the world. There is no place near or far where we would not go. Just contact me and we will prepare a unique travel package for you. Next year we are going to amazing destination weddings and as we said we love new places and faces.

Do you charge an extra amount for the weddings that you do outstation?

All other photography teams, travel and accommodation around the world are provided by the client. This is an industry standard. All transportation is covered by the photographer and billed to the wedding owner.

What kind of Travel & Accommodation do you expect to be provided for outstation weddings?

We are non-fussy about our travel and accommodation. We are OK with train or bus travel, when the journey involved isn’t too time consuming or tiring. We do adjust though. For eg. on our journey to a wedding shoot in Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh, we travelled by flight to Delhi, then a 12 hour bus journey to somewhere up north and another couple of hours by taxi, in contrast to a direct flight to Dharmshala. When it comes to accomodation, we have stayed at the clients home, as well as 5 star hotels and everywhere in between. Just provide us a decent bed, with a roof over our head and a bathroom, and we are good to go!

Do you have experience with camera -shy couples

Absolutely, this is a common experience amongst wedding couples. I know exactly how it feels to be camera-shy myself, so my aim is always to take natural photos that don't feel forced. I prefer not to take staged photos that will make you feel awkward. Your photos will be natural & relaxed with little formality to add to existing nerves.

Do you take family photos on the day?

Of course. Weddings are one of those lovely but rare occasions when all the people in your life are together so you should use the opportunity to get some great family photos. They can easily take more time then you might expect though, so I always concentrate on working to keep this part of the day brief and relaxed (no Royal Family-type family photos!). This means you can spend lots of time with your family and friends. I recommend no more than 20 set ups for 'family' photos, which will take about 20 minutes. I will of course be there in the background for the rest of the day, photographing all your favourite people.

How long will it take for our photos to be delivered?

I try not to leave couples waiting too long. To see your photos relatively soon after your wedding day is important, so I usually deliver them 8 weeks.

We don’t want to spend hours taking photos, how long do the 'couple' photos take?

I agree 100%. My aim is to be finished these photos in 20-25 mins maximum. That allows you both to get back to your guests and enjoy your day, whilst allowing me to return to documenting your day in a candid, natural style.

Do you edit your photos?

Absolutely, editing is an essential part of any photographer's job. However, I don’t ‘over process’ my images. Trends come & go, but I want your photos to be as fresh 20 years from now, as they are today. I aim to produce classic images. I also think it is vital that couples don't have to wait months and months for their photos to be edited. I work hard to ensure that your photos are returned to you within a reasonable timeframe.

How do ı book my wedding date?

Contact form is here. You can get started to provide details including your wedding or event date, location and give me some information about what you're looking for! I will follow up to send you the wedding package options and schedule a time to make a call, FaceTime or chat with a drink so you have the opportunity to ask questions and get to know you and your fiance a little more! If you decide you want to secure the date, I will submit a wedding contract form for you to review and submit, and request a 30% officer to keep the date. Once the contract and power of attorney is complete, I am completely yours!

When you say you are two photographers, what do you mean?

Often many couple’s are scared of the word posed , we prefer to use the word “Guide ” ,  you see many couple’s are not Models and that is ok ! we aren’t models ourselves but as professional wedding photographers , we understand the use of good Guidance can take an image from average to WOW ! we promise to never do any ” titanic posing ” its a lot of natural guiding , laughing and generally having fun with you , making you comfortable in front our lens , we promise 90 % of our couples are introverts and hate the camera but we make it fun and easy for them ! then its a breeze . 100% of the time we just talk nonsense and have fun with our couple’s
